Launch phase: We are activating confirmed and developing partnerships across training, behavioral health, recovery, reentry, family support, and workforce opportunity. Our reach will expand as funding and final operating requirements are completed.

Unbreakable Healing™ transforms lived experience of trauma, grief, addiction, justice involvement, neurodivergence, and economic exclusion into pathways for healing, self-determination, workforce opportunity, and community leadership.
Unbreakable Healing™ welcomes people of every faith and people with no faith tradition. We believe no person's worth is canceled by a diagnosis, a record, a relapse, a loss, or the hardest chapter of their life.

20 Families Forward
A citywide and countywide holiday-season mobilization to help twenty Baltimore-area families begin the new year with greater stability, connection, and a practical next-step plan.
This is not an idea waiting for permission. Unbreakable Healing™ has confirmed partner agreements and implementation capacity ready to move when funding is secured. That includes an experienced, reputable, fully credentialed and licensed workforce partner with capacity to support up to 15 Certified Clinical Medical Assistant training opportunities. The partner will be named publicly once a City funding pathway and formal activation requirements are complete.
Additional agreed partners across healing, recovery, workforce, family support, and community service are prepared to contribute referrals, services, training, and practical resources. 20 Families Forward is our first coordinated action: stabilize immediate needs, connect each family to a real pathway, document what is delivered, and follow through into the new year.

Carrying the work forward.
Unbreakable Healing™ is personally rooted in the founder's lived experience and in the legacy of Dante Barksdale, described by the founder as a cousin and father figure whose violence-prevention leadership shaped this calling.
Our workforce model is designed to complement - not claim affiliation with - Baltimore's public commitment to pre-apprenticeship and career pathways. The City Charter authorizes the Dante Barksdale Career Technology Apprenticeship Fund to promote pre-apprenticeship and workforce development programs that help students prepare for registered apprenticeship.
Our trauma-informed direction is also aligned in principle with Baltimore's Elijah Cummings Healing City Act implementation and its focus on trauma-informed training and response across City agencies.

“I am not a case study, and I am not telling this story from the outside. I lived it. Everything that was meant to break me built me, and now I am using every scar, every lesson, and every second chance to build a real lane for somebody coming behind me.”
I am not telling this story from a boardroom or a textbook. I lived it. I was in the streets. I sold drugs. I battled addiction, trauma, abuse, multiple diagnoses, and juvenile incarceration. I had to face what I did, survive what was done to me, find faith, fight my way into recovery, and come home with a reason. I am still here, still standing, and still in the same communities people keep making plans for without truly listening to the ones who lived it.
Unbreakable Healing™ came out of that fight. I know a diagnosis, a record, a relapse, or the worst chapter of your life does not cancel your worth. I know healing has to lead somewhere real - to skills, income, opportunity, manhood, motherhood, stability, and the power to lead. I am not asking Baltimore to save us. I am asking Baltimore to build with the people who survived it and let us show what we can do.
